5-minute setup: Setup is easy; a single person can open it. The travel cover is rolled up & stowed away after the form, and the rainfly poles live in a drop-down pocket. Setup time is even quicker in 'summer mode.'

Summer Mode: The rain fly can be removed to enter 'Summer Mode' for a more minimal look and quicker setup - as no poles are required. It's still showerproof; you must keep the windows closed if it rains.

Will it work with my car?

There is a TentBox model to fit almost any vehicle - aside from the odd exception like convertibles and smart cars. You need a set of roof bars, which you can get for any vehicle. Our quick guide is a beneficial place to get started, but if you need more help, please reach out to our team of product specialists.

What are the benefits of a TentBox vs. a ground tent?

Despite the name, a TentBox is more of a sleeping pod than a tent, and it’s just one step away from a campervan. You can sleep anywhere you can park your car, including on hard surfaces like car parks or driveways, and you don’t need to look for a flat grassy pitch. They are also super quick to set up and come fitted with a mattress; depending on the model you choose, you can also leave your bedding laid out inside when driving so that it’s already made for you when you pop it open. High off the ground makes for amazing elevated views from the windows and means you are well away from the cold, wet mud and creepy crawlies. The natural air barrier between the TentBox and the car roof is an insulation barrier and means you stay warmer as the heat is not sucked into the ground. Is a TentBox warm and weatherproof?

We’ve built all of our TentBox models to be stormproof; you will have no issues in even the harshest conditions, should you choose to go out in them! This is due to our high-performance fabrics and constriction quality. As for warmth, a TentBox is naturally insulated as it is raised away from the ground with an insulating air barrier. The foam mattress also adds a layer of protection, but a warm sleeping bag is advisable for colder temperatures. We’ve had TentBoxers adventuring to the arctic circle, and the feedback was great.

Will it fit a tall person who is over 6ft?

Yes! All of our TentBox models are over 7ft long—the Tentbox Lite XL has a sleeping footprint of almost 8ft long.

Can I keep a TentBox on my car all year round?

You can keep a TentBox on your vehicle all year round - lots of people do, and this is what it is designed for! The beauty of a TentBox is the instant, spontaneous adventure that it enables, so having it there ready to go is a big part of this. However, if you want to take it off (say during winter), that’s cool too. It can be stored on its side in a cool, dry place - make sure to dry it out before storage.

I would have maybe given a better rating if they hadn’t lied about it being indestructible and recommended it for my dogs size range! It didn’t last the first day. And couldn’t care less about the quality! It sucks that we have to navigate all the crap to find the few decent things available. So it most certainly does matter! And I say that for their benefit the most hopefully! Because people are craving and constantly looking for a company that just makes the effort to put out the best they can. And tell you the honest description of what they have. That stands behind their work and puts more effort into quality then they do into profit. With the faith that the quality and integrity in their company will end up bring them the profits they can be proud of and know that they earned! Honestly! Is this company one of those! I don’t know? It’s not clear and in their defense I never reported the sneaky man’s demise on day one! I expected that. But indestructible is a descriptive word that has a very specific meaning. And when it’s used in a manner that it was! Then you’ve set yourself up to fail as there are very few things that meet that description! And I know I’m picking hairs here. But it’s words that get used like that wich makes one appear to have not met the standard they wanted to! And maybe you don’t realize its impact on your overall until it’s far down the road! Can it be said better. Sure . Always room for improvement. But I would certainly remove the claim that’s just unreasonable to expect. If I wanted to use the benifit the does have to offer perhaps I would have said this ball is the closest thing to indestructible we’ve made so far. That’s statement tell me that they are not claiming it is but that it’s pretty tough! And it with out exact words tells you these guys must take honesty seriously or they wouldn’t have chosen to claim the accurate step below. And that lets me know that they hold themselves to a standard that they obviously respect their customers and they don’t take them for granted that’s integrity right there and there’s just not enough of it o. This world today! Seems to me that there are a few that are really close to it though. Maybe so close it’s worth the time to just go ahead and say it. If my gut feeling is right then it’s absolutely worth the time! Do I recommend the item absolutely it’s as tough as nails! And if you hate the squeaky part. Then don’t worry it won’t last long if your dogs like mine. Or you can take the little dude out when the dogs sleeping! And I’m going to add a star because when I look at it in the wider view I’ve been a bit harder then is justified I believe. Their. Our lives today are not as good as they once were and should be! When we let or standards drop due to whatever reasons as a civilization then are standards drop. And that’s all you should need to know. To understand where that leads! And we only do ourselves the disservice and loss that comes from those choices. So look around and don’t hesitate to. All out that when you see it. Just try and come from a place that’s not to tear things down but to remind them of what they are really capable of! And how much we all need to hold ourselves to the highest standard we are capable of! And stop justifying excepting less! And then we see the results from that rather than the other.

It does not break apart very easily and the size is good. it fits in the palm of my hand so it’s pretty good size ball for him. It’s big enough. He cannot swallow it, but he can fit it in his mouth. I think the thing that I like the most about it and he enjoys is that when he drops it, it bounces and he can chase it. Pet enjoyment 10 out of 10 engagement 10 out of 10. I feel it’s very safe dog friendly absolutely must buy hands-down. You will not be disappointed. It’s made of a very strong. I would say rubber and it’s super easy to clean. Just toss it in the sink. Wash it off with soap and water rinse it. It’s good to go. I’m running to buy another one right now as we speak so just in case he loses it, he’ll have a backup.
