The Gear-X Close Ratio Gear Set for the K-Series engine is designed as a drop-in replacement kit for up to 500hp.

Suitable for street and race K20 or K24 where very close ratio applications are required, such sprints, hill climbs, road race and drag race. Works well with a factory final drive, but is a spectacular performer when used with a 5.08 final drive. When a 5.46 final drive is used with this gear set, it is designed for very short-course racing or fast, short, autocross courses. It is not suggested using the 5.84 or 6.33 final drives with this close-ratio gearset.
