The Philodendron Golden Dragon is a fast-growing climbing variety known for its mottled variegation, which has been given various names over time. We prefer the name ‘Lime Fiddle’ for its vibrant lime-green speckling.
This plant thrives in well-draining soil with bright, indirect light but is adaptable enough to tolerate lower light conditions. As it matures, its leaf shape changes dramatically—starting off compact and rounded before elongating into a distinctive key-like form. Fully developed leaves can reach over half a meter in length, making it an impressive addition to any collection.
What to Expect
The exact plant depicted in the image is the one you will receive. We’ve found that the ‘Lime Fiddle’ variegation is not consistent and may come and go. These plants were propagated from our Lime Fiddle mother plant, which originated from a tissue culture batch produced approximately three years ago.
