The Iron Heart Japanese Horeshide Modified Type III Jacket in a Black Teacore leather features a beautiful lustrous and thick horsehide from Japan's Hemiji tannery - the tanning capital of Japan. This teacore horsehide starts out with a sturdy hand and a bit of shine, but will gradually soften over time and patina beautifully, showing more of the variations and grain, especially as the teacore starts peaking through. The Iron Heart Modified Type III Jacket comes in a slightly longer body compared to the original Type III Jacket, and with two external side-entry pockets and two internal pockets. 

Note: When pressed, post-sewing, some of the thick parts of this jacket take on a slight sheen, which will disappear with wear.

Note: Generally runs closer to TTS than other Iron Heart tops, which tend to run on the smaller end. We recommend taking your typical American brand tops size if you are on the small-to-middle end of your size. If you are on the larger end of your size, you can consider taking a size up. Jacket is stamped in numerical sizes, with size 36 equating to a Small, 38 to a Medium, 40 to a Large, etc.

Model: 6'0" and 175 lbs, wearing size 40 | L for a comfortable fit, neither too slim nor too relaxed, with decent room underneath. At model's weight, he has a relatively slim athletic build (40" chest) with a slim waistline.
