The BFF is a modern classic keel design that was custom made for our new Feb’s Fish. During initial R&D sessions on the new Feb’s Fish, the AMK and BMT were tested. That AMK provided heaps of down-the-line speed, but felt a tad over-finned during tight, arcing turns. Our BMT felt like not enough surface area was there for stability and rive, and that maybe more subtle fin tip could provide smoother turns. To solve this, Britt pulled back and rounded the AMK tip and with some other adjustments to it was able to finetune the outline. The result of is a beautiful and balanced fin that provides all the speed you need but offers a freedom and confidence in your turns that can always be counted on. And to our surprise, the Team has since learned that the BFF works very well on other twins we build like Twin Pin, Fish Beard, Mid Twin and more.
