- A dual layer anti-fog thermal lens helps prevent fogging by sandwiching a layer of air between the inner & outer layer. This acts as an insulator, allowing the thinner lens on the inside to warm up to the temperature inside the mask without contacting the cooler outside one. This effect works much more efficiently and lasts longer than single lens masks with an anti-fog coating.

The product is good and contrary to some comments I read it was not a mess to install and went on very nicely. That said I placed on a 71 Baracudda and starting from a 71db I was able to drop that down to about 66 with two layers Kilmatt 80mil

Excellent Sound Deadening Material!

I installed Kilmat Sound Deadening in my truck, and I’m extremely impressed with the results. The material is thick, pliable, and easy to cut to fit doors, floor panels. It sticks very well to metal surfaces and doesn’t peel, even after heating it slightly to make it more flexible. After installation, I immediately noticed a reduction in road noise and vibrations. Worth the money!!
