A garden is a grand teacher. Gertrude Jekyll

{HISTORY}

In the 1960s,  the florist trade fell in love with a new planter design. It was called Floraline and it was made by McCoy Pottery. Stylishly mod, it featured a lazy, loopy design and was washed in a creamy shade of white, like milk.  Part of McCoy's #506 pottery mold, this planter came in a variety of other colors too including green and yellow, a colorful array for a colorful garden indoors or out.

By the 1970s, when this Floraline planter was born, it was made by Lancaster Colony Corporation (also known as LCC) which purchased McCoy Pottery in 1974. Noticing what a favorite design it was with home gardening enthusiasts, they continued to make the Floraline 506 series, but to make it their own they changed it in a few small ways.  The 1970s version was slightly smaller (a 1/2" inch shorter in height) and the glaze was a little bit shinier, a little bit more reflective than the original 1960s version.  Also, they added their LLC along with the Floraline pattern name on the bottom of the planter. For all of the collectors of McCoy Pottery, these are fun details that help tell the story of a beloved manufacturer and its journey through two centuries.

No stranger to pottery making, McCoy first began in 1848 in Ohio where it thrived in business for over 130 years. One of the most popular potteries in U.S. history, McCoy pieces are beloved by collectors around the world for their dynamic shapes, beautiful color palettes and quality craftsmanship.

This white Floraline planter holds all sorts of appeal, as its classic color looks great with everything. Whether you choose to incorporate it into your space as a plant holder, a vase, a container for your succulents, or a holder for all sorts of kitchen odds and ends, its creamy aged character looks lovely with all sorts of interiors from farmhouse to country cottages to beach style bungalows and everything in between.

Best for Business owners gets the Job done
Style: WF-4820, Set: 1. SINGLE TRAY (250 sheets)/FAX/ADF/PRINT/COPY/SCAN
This Item is outstanding. Why? I've had two HP printers all in ones however, they were okay and did the job the inks are very expensive and not worth the money quite frankly. Now this printer faxes very fast and prints very fast also holds twice the paper in its tray. I like the big readable screen display that's really an asset. The HP always a hard time with big hands to enter numbers into the printer to fax, dial, and configure. This primer comes with the CD ROM if needed. Out of the box set up was indeed a breeze. Ready to go. I was really impressed to say the least. My personal opinion is that I highly recommend this item for small business owners who like to get the job done and quickly. Respectfully Dr. Martin PhD

Disappointed
Style: WF-4820, Set: 1. SINGLE TRAY (250 sheets)/FAX/ADF/PRINT/COPY/SCAN
The printer worked beautifully until it didn't. After 10 months use in my office (I'm retired, so use isn't heavy) it quit working. The error message advised me to remove and shake the cartridges. The cartridges cannot be removed. I'm so disappointed.

Nice functional printer at a low price-point
Style: WF-3820
At this price-point, the WF-3820 is a winner for a home printer with not much printing volume. It prints well. It was easy to set up the printer and wireless printing from a couple of computers. It uses ink cartridges. While Epson goes to great lengths to advertise/tout its cartridge-free printer models, if you don't print a lot this unit will do fine for you. Did I mention that it's relatively cheap? Has a fax function, but I don't have a landline anymore. It is a bit tall, and you have to open the scanner to access the ink cartridges; so beware if you're putting it in a cabinet or shelf without some decent head room.

Good Printer
Style: WF-3820
Given the 'not so good' reviews, I was a little apprehensive to buy this printer at first. This replaces a WF3620, in which I was very happy with its performance. But the print head began to print only Yellow and Black, and several attempts to 'unclog' the Cyan and Magenta nossles proved unsuccessful. But, I am very happy with the WF3820 - both with the price and the performance. It is faster and the graphics are clear and sharp. The 'jury' is still out on how much toner it uses, but suspect it is around the same as with the WF3620. If so, then I will retain my 5 Star rating.

Good printer ... Until Epson bricked it with Firmware
Style: WF-3820
Bought this as a replacement for a small office HP that died on us. It is a good machine. Nice features at a reasonable cost. Good color, full duplex, excellent scanning, and reasonable speed. The drivers are fairly crappy in that they constantly want to update and are poorly written and appear to send too much data home. (max out two cores on a modern i7 for a tiny printer driver update.) Overall a good machine and excellent for the price. Epson ink is ridiculously priced so went with high quality refurbished ink cartridges. Worked great at a good price. Fast forward to July 2022. Epson pushes firmware update for "performance, stability, and security updates" that seems harmless. Who doesn't install newer firmware when it is offered? After the firmware update the printer claimed that the ink cartridges were faulty and refused to function. Turns out that the printer is now a brick until I buy genuine Epson ink refills at an exorbitant price. Turns out the company has had a number of class actions against them in the past for this very shady practice. Time to write up some copy for social media and contact a lawyer. It should be illegal to remove capabilities from a product that has been bought and paid for and working for months. Certainly I will never buy another Epson product and neither will anyone at my company.
