A sculptural self-watering planter that keeps houseplants hydrated longer with less effort.

Nuna is a modern self-watering planter designed to make indoor plant care simpler without looking utilitarian. Its built-in water reservoir and passive wicking system deliver steady moisture to the root zone, helping reduce frequent watering while supporting healthier, happier houseplants.

With its tall, narrowed waist and softened silhouette, Nuna brings a more refined, design-forward shape to shelves, side tables, desks, and plant corners.

Key Benefits

  • Built-in water reservoir for longer-lasting hydration
  • Passive wick system for steady moisture delivery
  • Less frequent watering than traditional pots
  • Sculptural modern form designed to look good in the home
  • Ideal for many tropical houseplants
  • Works best with wicking-friendly substrate

Main Product Description

A self-watering planter that feels elevated

Most self-watering planters look purely functional. Nuna does not.

Nuna combines passive plant care with a sculptural silhouette that feels more like home decor than a standard pot. The shape is soft but architectural, clean but still organic. It is made for people who want their plants to thrive and want the planter itself to look intentional.

How Nuna works

Nuna uses a passive self-watering system built around a lower water reservoir and a wick that draws moisture upward into the substrate.

As your plant uses water, the wick continues pulling moisture into the root zone through capillary action. That helps create more even hydration over time instead of the usual cycle of fully soaked soil followed by dry-down and stress.

Why plant owners like self-watering planters

A good self-watering planter helps remove some of the guesswork from plant care.

With Nuna, you get:

  • less frequent watering
  • steadier moisture availability
  • less risk of harsh dry-outs
  • easier care for busy schedules
  • a cleaner, lower-maintenance plant setup

For many homes, it is a smarter way to care for plants without adding complexity.

Designed for modern indoor plant care

Nuna is a strong fit for people searching for:

  • self-watering planter for indoor plants
  • modern self-watering planter
  • wicking pot for houseplants
  • low-maintenance planter
  • planter with water reservoir
  • sculptural planter for home decor

It is especially well suited to plant owners who want something functional, minimal, and visually distinctive.

Best Plants for Nuna

Nuna is best for many houseplants that appreciate steady access to moisture in a breathable substrate, including:

  • pothos
  • philodendron
  • syngonium
  • scindapsus
  • ferns
  • peace lilies
  • begonias in the right mix
  • many tropical foliage plants

Refill Expectations

How often Nuna needs a refill depends on the plant, potting mix, temperature, light, humidity, and season. Many setups can go for more than a month between refills.

That makes Nuna a practical option for:

  • busy households
  • offices
  • forgetful waterers
  • plant owners who travel
  • people trying to reduce plant maintenance without switching to semi-hydro

Substrate Guidance

Nuna works best with a structured substrate that supports both moisture movement and root airflow.

A dense traditional potting soil can stay too wet in a self-watering setup. A chunkier, more breathable wicking mix helps the system work the way it should.

If you offer substrate options on the page, use this:

Inert Wicking Substrate
A clean, airy mix designed for reliable capillary watering while giving you full control over fertilizer.

Enriched Wicking Substrate
A more nutrient-supported option for growers who want a more complete all-in-one setup.

Why Choose Nuna

Nuna is for people who want more than just a pot with a reservoir.

It is for people who want:

  • easier plant care
  • fewer watering interruptions
  • a planter that feels premium
  • a piece that fits modern interiors
  • a self-watering system that is simple, passive, and effective

The Epson F170 has been ideal for getting started with sublimation. It's easy to use, prints vibrant and defined colors, and has allowed me to personalize various projects with excellent results. As a beginner, it has given me a lot of confidence to learn and create without complications. I definitely recommend it for anyone starting out in sublimation.

No returns and no support. If it doesn't work properly, too bad.
Style: Printer & Inks, Style: Printer & Inks
I was fairly happy with my Epson ET 2800, but was told that I'd get better colors with the F170. So I bit the bullet. The installation went smoothly and I was printing in short order. It was when I started printing items that had some dark gray that I noticed the problem. It was printing green. I contacted Epson tech support and they answered the phone almost immediately. (And how rare is that??) The woman I spoke with seemed to be familiar with the problem and advised me to modify the printer preferences and change the color correction from "ICM" to "No color correction". Well, it wasn't printing green anymore. Now the grays were brown. At this point, she ran out of ideas and gave me an email address for the second level of tech support and asked if I'd send a photo of the printed fabrics showing the problem. I did. That was over three weeks ago. I've sent a couple of followup emails, but they're ignoring me. But the best news was discovering that there are no returns on this product. I didn't think that was a thing with Amazon and I've never had any problems before. So now the 30-day return window is about to elapse and it appears that I'm stuck with an oversized doorstop. In the photo I'm including with this review, the fabric on the upper-left was printed with my Epson ET 2800. On the upper right, the F170 with ICM color correction. On the bottom, the F170 with no color correction.
