Rosularia platyphylla is a highly sought-after plant that can be challenging to find due to its slow growth rate. It offsets well, but it can take up to a year or more to fill out a 70mm pot from a single head, which is why it's uncommon to see large plants for sale.

These cold-tolerant alpine succulents bloom in late spring, displaying beautiful funnel or tube-shaped flowers that grow on tall inflorescences from the center of the rosettes. The flowers come in a range of colors, including white, yellow, bright pink, and purple, and may be stripped.

Like other rosette-forming succulents from the Crassulaceae family, such as Sempervivum and Echeveria, Rosularia platyphylla prefers well-draining soil and moderate watering.
