Echeveria 'Rainbow' is a compact and very decorative indoor succulent, appreciated for its variegated foliage in pastel shades mixing green, yellow, pink and sometimes orange highlights. Its colorful and harmonious rosette makes it an ideal plant for brightening up arrangements and very bright spaces.

Origin: Horticultural hybrid of the genus Echeveria, derived from species native to Mexico and Central America. The variegation is a cultivated selection for its varied colors.

Growth: Slow to moderate growth. It forms a dense rosette of thick, fleshy leaves, pale green to cream, mottled with pink and sometimes slightly bluish. Colors become more intense under strong light.

Flowers: Occasional flowering on mature plants. It can produce an arched flower stalk bearing small bell-shaped yellow to orange flowers.

Light: Requires bright light to direct sun. Excellent light is essential to maintain variegation and intensify pink hues. An effective horticultural lamp can also be used indoors.

Watering: Water only when the substrate is completely dry. Like all succulents, it tolerates drought very well and strongly fears excess water. Space out watering more when growth slows down.

Substrate: Use a very well-draining succulent potting mix, ensuring excellent root aeration and avoiding any stagnant moisture.

Toxicity: Non-toxic to humans and animals.
