Good for all skin types and gentle enough to be used daily. The pH balance of this face wash is approximately 8.5 - 8.9 

While the exact cause of acne may not be fully understood, it is known that acne results from the blockage and infection of a sebaceous gland which produces oil. Some conditions that are known to cause acne are hormonal changes, pregnancy, menstrual periods, menopause, overproduction of skin oils, commercial products such as shampoo or moisturizer, processed foods, stress and poor diet. Other agents which have been linked include certain medications, steroids, and antibiotics.

Lavender is soothing and helps with redness; tea tree offers anti-microbial and anti-fungal effects.  This face wash can additionally be used as a first aid wash for minor cuts, scrapes, athletes foot and nail fungus.

Gently shake the bottle and apply to a damp face cloth and use directly on the face in slow, circular motions to help bring up dirt and excess oils.  Rinse face with cool water and pat dry.  Follow up with the lavender facial serum as a moisturizer or raw organic shea butter.  Only a small amount is needed, (dime size).

A note about Sodium Laurel Sulfate (SLS) - a common ingredient in personal care products, which is an additive that allows foam in cleansing products.  SLS is a moderate hazard that has been linked to  skin irritations, dermatitis and endocrine disruption (from the Environmental Working Group Skin Deep Cosmetic Safety Database).
