These are durable plants that will perform best with moist to wet soil, but can tolerate some drought stress. Drought stress will negatively affect the appearance of the plant. Colocasia form tubers and these tubers can be stored for replanting in the spring. To dig and store tubers follow these directions. First, allow frost to kill the top of the plant then cut back the stems and dig the tubers. Wash off any soil and then allow the tubers to dry. Wrap dry tubers in newspapers or pack them in peat moss. Label each tuber or group of tubers so you know what they are come spring. Store tubers in a dark, cool (35 to 45 F) place. Do not allow tubers to freeze.

According to the Humane Society of America, Colocasia plants can be toxic to pets. This is means that the plants are generally identified as having the capability for producing a toxic reaction. This plant is not edible and can be harmful to humans if ingested.

Dries skin, not as good as calamine lotion
For eczema, this soap is counter-productive, as it dries my skin and makes it worse, from what I can tell. As a treatment for rash, insect bites, or other “topical” needs, it is a poor form factor. To get any benefit you have to really lather up the affected skin and be careful to not wash all the soap off. I couldn’t tell it was helping at all on a spider bite, whereas with normal calamine lotion the relief is immediate. So, what is the point then? Normal calamine lotion can be precisely applied, is more durable, and is easier to detect when re-application is needed. Nice idea, but it seems impractical. The soap is only lightly scented, which I prefer, but comes in a very small bar for the price point.

This stuff works!!
Scent: Fragrance-Free - Standard Size
This set has been the absolute best shampoo, lotion, and ointment for my little one going through a tough spell of baby acne. The ingredient list is clean, and worked miracles quickly. Baby’s skin was so soft, the redness disappeared within days. After just the second wash I could really notice a difference. Thank you Tubby Todd!
