Most watering methods work against your plants. Tomato Crater® works with them — across your entire garden.

The Tomato Crater® is a patented root-zone watering system that directs water directly to where plants need it most — deep at the roots. By keeping water off the soil surface and away from stems and leaves, it helps reduce the conditions that contribute to blossom end rot, fungal blight, and soil-borne pests like cutworms — problems that overhead and surface watering make worse.

Unlike lightweight watering rings that blow away or must be installed before planting, Tomato Crater's weighted, two-piece snap-together design installs around mature plants in seconds and stays put all season — even with a tomato cage in place.

What It Does

  • Directs water to the root zone — less evaporation, less guesswork, deeper hydration
  • Warms soil naturally — the crater design absorbs heat and transfers it to roots
  • Suppresses weeds — covers soil surface around the plant base
  • Helps reduce blight conditions — less soil splash onto leaves and stems
  • Discourages cutworms & soil-borne pests — drier surface soil = fewer pest conditions
  • Works with tomato cages — built-in cage slots; fits wire cages and Glamos cages
  • Installs around mature plants — no need to set up before planting
  • Stable in wind — weighted design won't blow away like thin plastic rings

Inexpensive part and YouTube knowledge lead to quick fix
Size: 96158T-1PCS
Solenoid went out on boat. After viewing multiple videos on YouTube I figured that my solenoid was bad. Ordered this and received a day later. Replaced the other one and this worked perfectly.

Worked perfectly!
Size: 96158T-1PCS
Have an older Mercury 40hp 2 stroke. This Solenoid worked perfectly. It is not that easy to install, due to the design of the engine. It does require a bit of patient and the right tools to do it. If you have big hands and don't do this type of repair to often, call a friend that is better than you to get some help :) I have an older engine but it runs like charm. I will order an extra Solenoid and place in the box of "important spare parts" for the future. Very good experience for the purchase and overall quality of the part.

Perfect fit and works great
Size: 96158T-2PCS
Perfect fit and works great. It is great that it comes as a 2pk. I replaced both with no need to change wiring, and kept the working one I had, as backup.

It works as it should...
Size: 96158T-2PCS
Used it in a pinch for stater relay... it works great. Be aware... Mine required metric sockets for the nuts... 10mm for large terminals - 3/8 was too tight and same for smaller terminals 7mm fit better than 5/16 that was too loose. The mounting holes are also spaced closer together than the OEM on a mercruiser 260 in a mid 1980's boat but easy to remedy with a 1/4" drill bit.
