CULTURE

Soil temperature: 65-70 degrees fahrenheit
Germination lighting: Light required
Germination days: 10 Days
Depth: 1/8"
Plant spread: 12"
Plant height:  48''
Plant type: Biennial/Perennial
Maturation days: 60 days

Best started about two months before your last frost in pots.  Place seed on surface of soil and lightly dust with sand or vermiculite as they need light to germinate.  Expose to light,  keep cool, and make sure the soil stays slightly moist 27/7 until germination.

You can also direct seed these two weeks before your last frost.  As above you want to lightly cover them a very light dusting of peat or vermiculite in your garden bed.  These will not germinate in hot late spring or summer weather.

Pyradmidalis bell flowers are short term perennials and if direct sown in spring will take one year to flower.  If started early enough in pots, and then transplanted in spring, they can flower in the first year.  If they don't flower in the first year they will flower in their second year.

Deadheading your flowers before they go to seed will extend the number of years the plant will produce flowers and you generally will get three years of flowers before they stop flowering.

Really Helpful and Easier to Use Than I Expected
Format: Paperback
I bought the APA 7th Edition manual for my college research papers, and it’s been a lifesaver. Compared to the older edition, this one feels much clearer and way easier to navigate. The full-color layout and the examples throughout really help when I’m stuck on how to format citations or references. I especially appreciate the new sections tailored for students like me—it’s not just for professional writers anymore. Plus, the tips on inclusive language made me think more carefully about how I write. It’s definitely a dense read if you try to go cover-to-cover, but as a reference book, it’s super practical. The only downside is that it’s a bit pricey, but for the quality and how often I use it, it’s totally worth it. If you’re in school or need to write APA-style papers regularly, I’d recommend grabbing this manual. It makes the whole process less stressful.
