3. Genovese Basil

  • Genovese Basil is a classic! It's prized for being sweet with undertones of a spicy flavor. You can't beat it's aroma.   These plants grow anywhere from 18"-24" inches. 6. Lemon Balm

  • The lemon balm plant produces beautiful lemon scented leaves. For an easy homemade repellent, crush lemon balm leaves and then rub them onto your skin. Keep the plants growing near doorways where the leaves will be readily available when you need them.

7. Lemon Grass

    Lemon Grass is a tropical plant that produces a thick grass that can even be used for flavoring many culinary dishes. The long lemon grass leaves should be collected by snipping them off with scissors anywhere from mid summer on. Mosquitoes do not care for the fragrance of lemon grass. I am loving these shoes so far this summer! The color is so cute, perfect for a light summer palette. It's the perfect light purple that doesn't make me look pale or washed out. Slight arch support to me but I have somewhat high arches so if you are more flat footed or standard arch these will give you even better support. Really impressed with these. They are more casual but work with many different outfits from sundresses to jeans. For me, these were a great buy and I will be wearing them all summer.
