Favors medium to bright, indirect light
Avoid periods of intense direct light

Can tolerate lower lighting but watering will need to be reduced
Water thoroughly about every two weeks, but allow soil to dry out between watering
Soil
Will thrive with any standard potting mix that drains well and is rich in organic matter
Adding peat moss or any rock that encourages drainage is ideal
Toxicity
Contains saponin, a chemical compound that is toxic to both cats and dogs
Ingesting can result in vomiting, diarrhea, bleeding and loss of appetite
