Echeveria Peach Curls Habit and Cultural Information Category: Succulent Family: Crassulaceae (Stonecrops) Origin: Mexico (North America) Evergreen: Yes Red/Purple Foliage: Yes Flower Color: Rose Pink Bloomtime: Summer Parentage: (Echeveria gibbiflora hybrid?) Height: 1 foot Width: <1 foot Exposure: Cool Sun/Light Shade Seaside: Yes Summer Dry: Yes Irrigation (H2O Info): Low Water Needs Winter Hardiness: 25-30° F Echeveria 'Peach Curls' - A mostly solitary plant with rosettes to 10 inches wide with frilly-edged peach-green leaves that take on showy pink hues in spring and fall and produce reddish-pink flowers well spaced along long stalks in summer. This plant is slow to develop a stem but benefits from being beheaded and re-rooted every 3 to 4 years. Plant in full sun to light shade in a well-drained soil. Hardy to around 25°F. Some sources list Harry Butterfield as the originator of this beautiful plant but others attribute it to Frank Reinelt. Harry Butterfield, was a known hybridizer of Echeveria. An article in the CSSA Journal titled "Echeverias for the Fancier" was about a talk Butterfield gave to the California Cactus and Succulent Society on Nov. 8, 1953 where he reviewed the known species and hybrids of Echeveria (unfortunately w/o mentioning 'Peach Curls'). Butterfield was also known to have createed several named hybrids of Echeveria gibbiflora, which would be one of the presumed parents of 'Blue Curls'. Mr. Reinelt, who operated Vetterle and Reinelt Nursery in Capitola, California, was more famous for his primrose, begonia and delphiniums but also worked with succulent plants. This hybrid is noted as the sister seedling to another well known cultivar, 'Blue Waves'. Both plants have nice color and form and are good for contrasting with narrow or smaller foliage plants. The information on this page is based on our research conducted in our nursery library, from online sources, as well as from observations made of this plant as it grows in our nursery containers, in the nursery's garden and in other gardens where we have observed it. We will also incorporate comments received from others and welcome getting feedback of any kind from those who have additional information, particularly if this information is contrary to what we have written or includes additional cultural tips that would aid others in growing Echeveria 'Peach Curls'.

Sturdy cutting boards!
These cutting boards work great and are sturdy. They lose color quickly but re oiling them will help that. Good product.

Great quality for the Price
Surprisingly decent for the price! The wood is actually pretty and high quality, but the manufacturing isn't great. The set a received is quite rough and my wife continues to think she will get a splinter. They also are oiled but they are quite dry still and also smell heavily of the mineral oil they use.

Beautiful but terrible quality.
While I absolutely loved the idea of cutting boards with a stand, these were not the right choice. The wood is exceptionally soft and after the first use the gouges from my knife were pretty deep. After I washed the cutting board from cutting veggies, it started to splinter. Maybe I just got a defective set but I definitely do not recommend this set. Will be returning and getting a different brand/board.
