Air Plant Care
Air Plants, also known as Tillandsia's, are beautiful little Plants that are very easy to grow. With the flexibility to use the Air Plant without soil and minimal water, the Air Plant is an easy choice for an easy-to-maintain Terrarium. If taken care of, Air Plants will live for several years. Please see the below care instructions for taking care of your Air Plant to ensure years of enjoyment.
WATER
-Most Air Plants will be their healthiest with a weekly watering. Air Plants will become dry while in the terrarium and will need to be sprayed with water 2-3 times a week. More often in a hot, dry environment and less often in a cool, humid one.
-If you see the Plants drying out, submerge the Air Plant in a bowl of water upside down for up to an hour. Repeat weekly if necessary. Adjust watering in different climates.
-Air Plants can never have too much water. They benefit from overnight soaks in water and will not be harmed from over watering. Please make sure to dry the plant completely after the watering as the Air Plants can die from having water sitting in the center of the plant or at the base.
AIR
-Air is an important component to the health of an Air Plant. All Air Plants live off the air and will be healthier in a terrarium that is not enclosed. Place your Air Plant at a distance from your heater or to avoid drying out the plant.
-After watering, Air Plants should be given enough light and air circulation to dry in four hours or less. Do not keep the plant constantly wet or moist.
LIGHT
-Light is an important variable when it comes to keeping your Air Plant healthy. We recommend placing your Air Plant near a window with some sun light. Make sure the plant doesn't get to much direct sun though! Too much sun will be harmful to the Air Plant. Artificial light is also a great source of light for Air Plants if you do not have windows.
TEMPERATURE
-Keep your Air Plant in warm conditions. They thrive in a temperature range of 50-90 degrees.
BLOOMING
-It's normal for Air Plants to grow new leaves. Groom your Air Plant by removing dead or dried leaves. If the tips have dried out, you can cut the dried area off. Keep your Air Plant looking fresh with a monthly grooming.
GROOMING
-Some types of Air Plants have a blooming once in their life and will live for many years with the appropriate care. Look for a reddish tint when the air plant starts blooming.

Good for a laugh at least and a messy kitchen
Color: black
While design, quality, and ease of cleaning are great!! These are not for highly food motivated dogs and puppies.
My senior dog (100lbs) took a couple licks, he immediately proceeded to pick it up as one unit and carry it to his bed where immediately tore it apart to get to the good stuff. ~ I will say that it is durable and did not fall apart as he carried it.
My 7mo old puppy (60lbs) was intrigued and quickly impatient and was able to flip it over and while this only made a little pumpkiny mess, what he did next was hysterical! He picked it up on the edge and threw up in the air and the mess surprised even him but only for a moment. He promptly did it again and on the third time he was able to break the top loose from the bottom and quickly cleaned up the toy and the mess on my kitchen floor and cupboards.
Fair warning for those with energetically food motivated labs!! These have since been donated to local shelter with the same warning.

Great for dogs
Color: blue
My dog is obsessed with this! I put plain yogurt thinned with homemade broth in it and he’s entertained for a good 15 minutes, as well as being fairly calm afterward.

Great bowl, would love this in a larger size
Color: blue
This is a great way to treat your dog! I filled it with a bit of plain yogurt drink diluted with water, and my dog absolutely loved it. It only took him about 3-5 minutes to finish it, but he’s about 60lbs, so maybe a bigger size bowl would be better for him. Max capacity of this one is 190 ml. You do have to monitor your dog with this bowl - mine tried to dismantle the bowl when it was empty, trying to get more out of it. Overall I think it’s a fun way to get your dog to drink a little bit more with diluted yogurt, broth, etc.

My dog loves it!
Color: black
Kudos to whomever created this! I have a super attached (med) dog that follows me from room to room alllll day. The first time I put this down he went right for it and didn’t even notice i had left the deck. He is very food driven. I used bone broth and pumpkin puree, which was a hit but once I used the apple sauce… HUGE hit. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come in an XL size. My dog can empty it in under 3 minutes..so he doesn’t get relaxed or sleepy! it does splash out a bit from the top so I use it on his food mat or outside..my sister can’t stand the noise the ball makes. I wasn’t diluting enough so the ball doesn’t move smoothly in the video, but it really does work! The cover is very well made and sturdy. I didn’t notice it sliding around at all. My dog also did not try to get the ball out (loves to tear apart toys) or tip it over, but I could see that happening. I wouldn’t use unsupervised unless you have a small dog.
Please make a larger size!!!!

Works but the bowl is wacky
Color: blue, Color: blue
This slow feeder is actually a very good idea and my dog likes it. I blend plain, unsweetened yogurt with a little powdered pumpkin & apple pectin and thin it down with water so the roller ball can easily rotate. It's sturdy and it doesn't slip on the floor, which is good. However, I give it only three stars because the bowl inside is a ridiculous design. Instead of the inside surface being a gently sloping, smooth surface, the "legs" underneath protrude up through the inside (see photo). It makes stirring and cleanup much more difficult than it needs to be. Presumably, it's made using injection molding so it should be easy to design it with a smooth finish.
