Lemon Mint

(Packet of 500 Seeds)

Lemon Mint is an attractive flower, just as much as it is a fragrant herb. These plants grow to a mature height of roughly 12 to 24 inches tall, displaying beautiful lavender colored blooms along its erect stems. The leaves are slender and green, placed underneath the clusters of lemon scented, 2 inch blooms. Lemon Mint is known to attract all sorts of beneficial insects to the garden, such as bumblebees, honeybees, butterflies and hummingbirds as well. They are a popular pick in most butterfly gardens and insectaries. The citrus flavored leaves can be minced and added to flavor teas and fruit jellies.

Lemon Mint is categorized as an annual flowering herb. Annuals will grow quickly from freshly harvested seeds, blooming through the summer months and later wilting from harsh frosts. The seeds are known to drop to the bare ground beneath, allowing fresh plants to return the following Spring season. You can also collect the seeds from dried flower heads at the end of the Autumn season, for resowing the following year.

Lemon Mint plants make a great cut flower for floral arrangements and bouquets as well, giving off their minty, lemon scent. Simply cut the tops, allowing the base of the plant to regrow. This can also help establish and promote new plant life from your Lemon Mint plants.

Spotted Bee Balm

(Packet of 300 Seeds)

Spotted Bee Balm flowers are gorgeous plants that will attract an array of beneficial insects to the garden. They grow to a mature height of about 12 to 36 inches tall and need little attention once established. Monarda punctata is categorized as a perennial that is native to much of the eastern and midwestern United States. The flowers appear creamy white, and have accents of purple above and below their blooms.

Spotted Bee Balm, also known as “Horsemint” prefers an area that is average to dry. It is very forgiving of drought and enjoys an area of sunlight. Great when used in a butterfly garden, as a border plant, or even in a natural setting or meadow.

Wild Bee Balm

(Packet of 400 Seeds)

Wild Bee Balm, also known as Wild Bergamot, will produce gorgeous, lilac-pink colored blooms through the Spring and Summer months. The plants themselves will reach a mature height of roughly 36 to 48 inches tall and will produce 2 inch flowers. The leaves of this stunning plant are aromatic, and the nectar will attract all sorts of beneficial insects to the garden, such as hummingbirds, honeybees, bumblebees, butterflies and more. Several plants can easily spread out, forming mounds of color in many areas of the garden. These plants are popularly chosen for borders, along fences and paths, or directly in the garden. Wild Bee Balm is also seen in many public parks, zoos, butterfly gardens and insectaries as well.

Grown as a perennial flowering plant, Wild Bee Balm will establish a deep root system, which will allow the plants to remain dormant in the cold temperatures of the winter season. The plants can then reestablish themselves the following year, after all danger of frost has passed. When the blooms of your Wild Bee Balm plants become old and start to wilt, simply pop the heads off to replace them with new flowers. Powdery mildew can be a major issue for not only Wild Bee Balm, but most other Monarda plants as well. To prevent powdery mildew, we suggest cutting back thicker foliage, allowing air to circulate through the plants more efficiently. You can also water the plants directly at the root to avoid mildew as well.

not bad
Format: Kindle
I loved the plot of this book. The characters just didn’t have a lot of depth. The connections and “love” just weren’t communicated very well in the writing. The author didn’t write the sweet psycho trope very well at all either. Lachlan was just a mess of a character.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5
