Thank you for choosing our premium Spider Plant seedlings! Here's how to care for your new plants.

Spider plants (Chlorophytum comosum) are popular indoor and outdoor plants known for their arching leaves and ability to produce baby spider plants (pups). Here’s a comprehensive care guide covering each aspect of their care:

Site Selection:
Indoor Spider Plants:
- Choose a location with bright, indirect light. Spider plants can tolerate some shade but prefer bright, filtered light.
- Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
- Place near a window or in a well-lit room but away from drafts or direct heat sources.

Outdoor Spider Plants:
- Grow in partial shade to full shade outdoors.
- Protect from hot, direct sunlight, which can burn the leaves.

Soil Preparation:
- Use a well-draining potting mix for indoor plants.
- For outdoor plants, amend the soil with organic matter to improve drainage and fertility.

Planting:
- Spider plants are typically grown from offsets (pups) or seeds.
- Plant pups in pots with good drainage holes or directly in garden beds.
- Ensure the soil around the roots is well-settled after planting.

Watering:
- Keep the soil evenly moist but not waterlogged.
- Water thoroughly when the top inch of soil feels dry.
- Reduce watering in winter when growth slows down.

Sunlight:
- Indoors: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Spider plants can tolerate lower light conditions but thrive with more light.
- Outdoors: Partial shade to full shade is best. Avoid direct sunlight, especially during hot afternoon hours.

Fertilizing:
- Feed spider plants every 2-4 weeks during the growing season with a balanced  fertilizer or rich compost.
- Reduce feeding in fall and winter when growth slows down.

Mulching:
- Mulch around outdoor spider plants with a layer of organic mulch to retain moisture and suppress weeds.
- Keep mulch away from the base of the plant to prevent rotting.

Pest and Disease Management:
- Spider plants are relatively pest-resistant but can occasionally attract spider mites or mealybugs indoors.
- Inspect regularly for pests and treat with insecticidal soap or neem oil if necessary.
- Ensure good air circulation around indoor plants to prevent fungal issues.

Propagation:
- Spider plants produce offsets (pups) that can be easily removed and replanted in pots or garden beds.
- Separate pups with roots intact and plant them in moist soil.

Maintenance:
- Remove yellow or dead leaves regularly to maintain plant health and appearance.
- Prune back spent flower stalks to encourage new growth and prevent self-seeding.

By following these care guidelines, you can successfully grow spider plants indoors or outdoors, enjoying their graceful foliage and easy propagation.

Would not buy again
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 6.9 Ounce (Pack of 1)
Would not order these again. Opening in bone is too small making it almost impossible for even a small dog to reach peanut butter inside.

Perfect size
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 6.9 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I like this size. I’ve gotten the larger ones in the past, but my 45 pound dogs can’t get to the center. This size works much better for them. They love them.

my dog says NO
Flavor Name: Peanut Butter, Size: 6.9 Ounce (Pack of 1)
My dog sniffs both ends of this bone then walks away. I see in inside of it is very hard so I decided to soak it in some hot water for awhile and see what she does with it. If it works I will update. Update. Soaking didn't help. So that bone went in the trash.
