This car seat accommodates up to 50 pounds rear facing to help keep your child riding safely even longer and easily switches to a forward facing car seat as your child grows. ClickTight Technology installation provides fully open seat belt paths that are clearly labeled and easy to access, and the automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening. Slim outside and spacious inside, the toddler car seat features 17" SpaceSaver technology designed to fit 3-across* without compromising on trusted Britax safety and premium comfort. The Britax car seat boasts a patented SafeCell® crumple zone and V-shaped top tether to help manage crash energy. The reinforced frame and belt paths provide strength and stability. This suit had me questioning whether the manufacturer had ever actually seen a human child before. The pants were SO long — like they were tailored for a 9-year-old with 100 feet of shin. 😂 I had to hem them significantly just to make them wearable for a normal boy. The bow tie was also a letdown. It has a subtle textured pattern that makes it feel a little more unique than a standard dress shirt, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the fabric itself is stiff and not particularly comfortable. Overall, the whole set feels pretty cheap quality-wise. BUT… he’s 9. He’ll outgrow it before the next wedding invitation hits the mailbox anyway. 😂 For one day of looking like a dashing young gentleman instead of a tiny tornado in sweatpants, it got the job done. Just definitely not something I’d recommend for peak summer wedding season unless your child enjoys marinating in polyester.
