Anthurium andreanum 'Noir' is a captivating and sophisticated houseplant, known for its deep, glossy black spathes, which contrast elegantly with its bright green foliage. This rare variety adds a luxurious and dramatic touch to any indoor space.

Origin: Anthurium andreanum is native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, where it grows under the canopy of trees in shady environments.

Growth: This plant exhibits moderate growth, reaching approximately 50 to 60 cm in height indoors. Its large, glossy green heart-shaped leaves blend harmoniously with its glossy black spathes, making it an elegant centerpiece.

Flowers: Produces unique black spathes and slender spadices, typical of Anthuriums. The long-lasting flowers can persist for several weeks, providing prolonged decorative appeal.

Light: Prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid full sun, which can burn its leaves and dull its spathes.

Watering: Requires moderate watering to keep the soil slightly moist, without overwatering which could lead to root rot.

Substrate: Use a well-draining potting soil rich in organic matter. A mixture of houseplant compost, peat moss, and fine bark is ideal for providing good aeration.

Toxicity: Anthurium andreanum 'Black' is toxic if ingested, due to the presence of calcium oxalates. It is advisable to keep it out of reach of pets and children.

How to take back what the thief has stolen
Format: Paperback
I took a long time to read this book so I could soak in and apply the principles laid out from God's Word. We have all been stolen from in some way or another, whether it has been failed relationships, finances, health, or even what we feel is our calling or destiny. The good news is that we can stand on God's Word and take back what the thief has stolen. I am still applying what I have learned to have faith that God will restore the years that the locusts have eaten

I love this book. I purchase the audiobook, I wish I had purchased the hardcopy instead. It has so much information that you must read and re-read each chapter in order to gleam all the knowledge it provides.

Much needed in the world we live in.
Format: Paperback
As a black man with Autism, this feel like a much needed read. Even though I just started reading it, this book is relatable to my life because I feel like some of the body of Christ is constantly demonizing Autism as it's like a curse and that to me is a spit to my face especially one who knows and loves God. A must get.

Your Next Church Read
Format: Paperback
Brilliant. Important. Timely. Pastor Lamar calls the Western church to decenter itself so that ableism and racism will dissipate. I will go back to this book time and again for my advocacy work inside and outside of the church.
