This rare hybrid between Philodendron gloriosum and a (unnamed) McColley’s hybrid is the shiny and fresh looking Philodendron 'Summer Glory’. Less velvety than Philodendron gloriosum, yet still as dramatic in appearance. Foliage of this hybrid is much darker in colour, with new leaves emerging in shades of faded pink and orange, while veins glow with a pale pink colour.

WATERING

In S/S water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In A/W allow top soil to dry out 50%. To increase humidity during S/S, mist the plant occasionally or sit it on top of a tray of pebbles with water.

LIGHT REQUIREMENTS

Bright, indirect.

FEED

Use a houseplant fertiliser every two months from April - October.

REPOTTING

Repot every 2-3 years when pot is full. Use a well draining house plant compost with added draining medium like perlite.
