This particular cultivar of Sansevieria bacularis has tall stick, or finger-like (where the name 'Mikado' comes from) leaves that reach towards the sky!  

Sansevieria bacularis 'Mikado' care:

This plant prefers a well draining soil that is rich in organic matter.  Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering, taking care to not allow it to sit in excess water.  This plant will tolerate lower light conditions but we recommend that you provide your new snake plant with plenty of bright indirect light.
