Tulsi has been renowned for its health benefits as a super awesome adaptogenic herb, usually drank as a tea. However we find it's one of our favorite smoothie greens. The flavor is like bubble gum, but also a bit minty, with a distant hint of sweet basil. It pairs well with berries and fruits. An absolute essential for my summer garden.

Tulsi could be grown for its permaculture companion, support plant capabilities alone. It could also be grown for its widely touted medicinal uses. However, in our opinion the flavor of this variety of tulsi shines even brighter. It is our favorite ice cream flavor and is as rich and unique as vanilla and chocolate.
