Lilacs are very easy to grow! Choose a planting site for Lilacs in full sun with at least six hours of sunlight. They do best in well-drained soil that is organically enriched but not overly fertilized. For poor drainage sites, raise your Lilacs up over the water table by creating a planting mound to improve drainage.
