Because dahlias are octoploids, meaning they have four times as many chromosomes as most other flowers, tubers grown from seed produce a spectacular diversity of architectural leaves and blooms in a myriad of forms and colors.

This year we're sharing some of this diversity with you through tubers as well as seed! These tuber sets are a mix of some of our favorite colors and forms that have appeared in the mix during our farm grow-outs.

Bloom colors are a mix of red, burgundy, magenta and the occasional yellow flower on foliage that ranges from purple tinged to deep burgundy.
