This convertible car seat accommodates up to 50 lbs when installed rear-facing, allowing your child to ride rear-facing longer. It easily switches to a forward-facing car seat as your child grows, accommodating up to 65 lbs. ClickTight technology provides fully open seat belt paths that are clearly labeled and easy to access, and the automatic tensioner takes care of the tightening. This baby car seat lets you easily adjust the 14-position no-rethread harness and headrest to help create the perfect fit. Slim outside and spacious inside, this convertible car seat features 17-inch SpaceSaver™ technology designed to fit 3-across* without compromising on trusted Britax safety and premium comfort. The rear-facing car seat includes a patented SafeCell® crumple zone and a V-shaped top tether to help manage crash energy. Carbon steel frame and belt paths provide strength and stability. A 1 x 10 fits like a glove and the small lip finishes off the classic look. Comes with all sorts of mounting hardware and the screws are decent quality and went in with no issue or stripping. I usually have to buy better screws but these were fine. At this price it really was an excellent deal and they are heavy duty. Win Win Win.

Beware of the off-gassing smell.
As much as I like the durable case, the ONLY complaint I have is the off-gassing. The case works great and I have no problems with it. But the smell is something terrible. My entire travel case smells horrible after coming back from a client just because this case has been transported within it. I had my coat on top of it one day and then my coat stunk. I thought if I aired it outside for a bit it would clear it up. When I take it back inside and use it again, it continues to smell. It is so offensive that I am ordering something from another company. I CANNOT say it smells similar to cigarette smoke, but can say that it smells like it has been in a smoker's home for the last 30 years and you just can't get the smell out, no matter what I do. And I tried to spray it with fresheners etc. Nothing worked. I can't use it because of this. I rated as a 2 only because of the smell. As mentioned earlier, the case itself is perfect and performs as it should.
