Description

monstera plant toxic to babies MonsteraThe Monstera Deliciosa is a celebrity plant, if there ever were one. Its signature oblong cutouts on dark, glossy, heart shaped leaves make it one of the most recognizable of all tropical plants. The holes in the leaves are called "fenestrations", and are the mark of a more mature plant. Juvenile leaves are much smaller and windowless. The exact reason for the holes is debated, but prevailing theories suggest the holes support improved light

The Monstera Deliciosa is a celebrity plant, if there ever were one. Its signature oblong cutouts on dark, glossy, heart-shaped leaves make it one of the most recognizable of all tropical plants. The holes in the leaves are called "fenestrations", and are the mark of a more mature plant. Juvenile leaves are much smaller and windowless. The exact reason for the holes is debated, but prevailing theories suggest the holes support improved light absorption in the limited sunlight of the forest floor.

Fun fact: the Monstera Deliciosa plant reproduces in a very interesting manner. In the wild, the male portion of the flower heats to a temperature of 93.2F to attract the scarab beetle, thus increasing the probability of pollination. It just so happens that the warmth also provides the ideal environment for beetle reproduction, too! (wink, wink)

🪴 Each plant is unique: depending on the season the size and shape may vary.

NOT for aggressive chewers.
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
Bruce had the stuffing out of this thing less than 5 minutes after handing it to him. This is not for aggressive chewers. Toys from the Dollar Tree have lasted longer than this thing. And now they want to charge me a buck to return it. I'll just let him finish shredding it. Maybe what's left will keep him entertained for a couple of hours.
