Philodendron 'Autumn' plants are a beautiful hybrid philodendron, known for the rich, coppery-red color of new leaves. The copper-red fades to a dark olive green as the leaves mature. This plant loves partial to indirect sunlight, and brighter indirect light sources will encourage an exotic display of rich coppery colors.

These tropical philodendrons prefer an organic and well-draining soil that will keep the roots evenly moist. Mature plants will grow to 3 to 4 feet tall and wide if given the space. Philodendron Autumn plants are ideal for indoor spaces, or for shaded patios in places with mild winters (as long as they can come inside during the cold).

The root system in a Philodendron Autumn is versatile and resilient. If you are going to re-pot your autumn philodendron from its growers' pot, make sure to do so a little while after it has arrived, and stay close to the size of the grower's pot it arrived in.
