One of the most widespread sundews, originally discovered in Tasmania, Australia, today it is also known to New Zealand, Malaysia, China, and Japan. This adaptable terrestrial species grows in wet, peaty or sandy soils. It forms flat rosettes of spoon-shaped leaves that blush red under strong light and bears graceful pink to white flowers on tall, slender scapes, often blooming multiple times a year in cultivation. This form has a white flower but otherwise grows similar to common forms of spaulata.

Seeds from the Drosera genus are extremely small, ranging between 0.25 and 3mm. Germination can take anywhere from 7-180 days, but generally occur within the first two weeks under optimal conditions. Cold stratification is not needed. I recommend sowing on a mix of washed peat moss and keep them in high humidity until they sprout. 

This offer includes a packet of 50+ seeds per order. Seeds are wrapped in an origami paper envelope and put into a small plastic baggie. Please be careful when opening the packets as the seeds are extremely small (see photo(s)) Seeds are shipped in a padded, tracked envelope without a heat pack.
