Unique fan shaped bright green leaves adorn this ornamental shade tree. Leaves turn a brilliant yellow in the fall. Considered a living fossil, Ginkgo trees date back to over a 270 million years and can live well over a 1,000 years. Mature trees reach a height of 25 to 50 foot and 25 to 40 foot wide. Prefers full to partial sun and can tolerate moderate drought conditions, however, Ginkgo trees will not do well in dry hot climates. Hardy to USDA zones 3-8.
Trees ship dormant in Fall, Winter, and early Spring and with leaves in late Spring and Summer.
