It is bold, beautiful, and — unlike many pink plants — genuinely easy to grow. Chinese Evergreens are some of the most adaptable and forgiving houseplants in existence.

Good for beginners? Yes. Chinese Evergreen is one of the best beginner plants available. It tolerates low light, inconsistent watering, and most home conditions with minimal drama.

Safe for cats and dogs? Chinese Evergreen is toxic to pets if ingested. Keep out of reach of cats and dogs.

Light needs: Medium to bright indirect light keeps the pink tones most vivid. It tolerates lower light better than most pink-leafed plants but the color intensity reduces. Avoid direct sun which can bleach the vibrant pink.
