Plant Top Hat Blueberry in full sun and well-drained, acidic soil for the best fruit production. For container growing, use a potting mix designed for acid-loving plants such as azaleas or rhododendrons. Water regularly, keeping the soil moist but not soggy. In late winter, prune lightly to remove old or weak stems and encourage fresh growth. Even though it is self-pollinating, planting it near another blueberry can improve yields and extend the harvest. Pair Top Hat with other compact varieties or early bloomers to create a colorful, productive, and pollinator-friendly garden.
