This book is filled with details about the series, how the makers came up with their ideas, what inspired them, and so much more. What REALLY put the icing on the cake is the artwork (duh h4x0rzzzzz, it's an artbook). Every little pencil sketch, drawing, painting, left me in awe. So stunning! Most of the time when I buy books, I'll read/look at them once or twice and then it spends the rest of its book-life sitting on my bookshelf, collecting book-dust. I can guarantee you that this is a treasure that won't have the opportunity to sit still. Definitely worth the buy!

This book is wonderful! If you are a fan of the show, it is indeed a "must have." As an artist, I was also hoping for a lot of character designs so I could have accuracy if I decided to make some fanart, and this is chock full of character designs. It has every last costume each main character or secondary character wore as well as designs for all of the people you see milling about the background of the episodes. There are beautiful samples of environments, building designs, and production artwork as well, and many humorous little notes jotted here and there next to the art. There are even images of the Wanted Posters and a certain Waterbending Scroll. ;) They go into detail about the creations of the characters, go over episodes, and give you a lot of fun trivia to know. So if you are an artist also looking for some reference material(this had all I was hoping for and tons more) or you just want a ton of fun facts and nice images to look at, you will not be disappointed!

This book is an inspirational read for anyone and well worth more than the cost.
