The Jody Lace Cocktail Dress in Black is a fitted midi lace cocktail dress in plant-based silk, cut with a V-neckline, short lace sleeves, and soft waist draping. It is built as the year-round little black dress in European lace form, designed to carry across every major evening occasion in a woman's calendar without becoming the dress she has worn before.

Fabric
Plant-based silk with premium European lace overlay. The plant-based silk gives the dress graceful movement, a smooth hand against the skin, and a luminous finish that catches light without reading as shiny. The lace pattern is dense enough to read as textured rather than transparent, and the deep saturated black photographs cleanly under chandelier and restaurant lighting without picking up grey under flash. Designed and crafted in Europe as part of Luna Fashion House. Featured at OC Fashion Week 2026, Catalina Island runway.

Fit
True to size with a fitted silhouette through the bodice and natural waist. The midi length sits at or just below the knee on most heights. Short lace sleeves give photograph coverage at seated dinners. Between sizes, choose the smaller for a tailored line or the larger for layering comfort. See the Luna sizing guide for measurement specifications. Model is 5 foot 9 inches wearing size 3.

Styling
For black tie optional receptions, pair with the Jody Lace Clutch Bag in Black for tonal texture and pearl drops in larger scale.
For New Year's Eve and milestone birthday evenings, the Julia Evening Clutch Bag in Green or the Julia Evening Clutch Bag in Yellow adds the single color note the look needs.
For winter arrival photographs, the Lucy Wool Coat with Fur Collar in Black or the Selina Wool Cape in Black layers cleanly over the lace.
For executive holiday dinners, the Iris Short Tailored Coat in Deep Black sits at the natural waist for arrival.
For warmer-climate evenings, the Loretta Silk Floral Scarf handles transitions between cool venue and warmer reception.
Hold one metal tone across earrings, bracelet, ring, and clutch hardware.

Care
Professional dry cleaning recommended. Gentle hand wash in cold water acceptable for light refresh. Do not tumble dry; lay flat or hang to preserve the lace structure. Iron or steam on low only. Do not bleach.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
