It has recently been reconditioned in an artisan workshop in Shandong.  This striking yet vintage appearance is achieved by applying many layers of paint and rubbing back areas between successive layers to reveal the striking grey undercoat beneath. 

With four good sized full drawers and two small drawers to the bottom, this stylish piece has lots of storage space. Standing proud of the floor on four ornate carved feet the chest has a distinctive yet understated look that adds style to any interior. 

A piece this size works very well as additional bedroom, bathroom or living room storage. Works equally well in busy rooms that require extra tidy space.
