This sewing pattern is available to buy in the following formats:

– PDF (available to download immediately after purchase). What is a PDF?

– PDF pattern + Printed A0 copy shop (We print out the A0 pattern sheets, but you’ll need to download the digital instructions, as we don’t print these. The PDF files will be emailed immediately after purchase, and the A0 pattern sheets will be dispatched next working day). What is Copy Shop?

Suggested fabrics: Mid-weight woven fabrics with plenty of drape. Soft, washed linens, linen-rayon blends, and silk noil are all good choices. Avoid crisp cottons such as poplin and quilting cotton, as well as heavier weight fabrics such as canvas, as these do not play well with the yoke gathers.

Fabric requirements:

View A: 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0-24, 2 yd (1.9 m) // Sizes 26-34, 2.4 yd (2.2 m).

View B: 54″ (137 cm) wide fabric: Sizes 0-24, 2.4 yd (2.2 m) // Sizes 26-34, 2.75 yd (2.5 m).

Sizing: US 0 – 34 (approx. UK 6/8 – 32/34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.

The pattern is drafted for a height of 5’5″ (165 cm) and a dressmaker's cup size C.

Notions: 1/2 yd (0.5 m) of lightweight fusible interfacing.

PDF pattern includes: Instructions; US letter/A4 print-at-home pattern (36 pages for sizes 0-24, 38 pages for sizes 22-34); A0 copy shop pattern (2 sheets for sizes 0-24, 2 sheets for sizes 22-34) // Layers: Yes // Projector file: Yes.

Wonderful and short introduction to plate tectonics for those with little background in Earth science or mathematics
Format: Paperback
Molnar does an excellent job explaining key elements of plate tectonics. His book is understandable even for those with little background in geology or geophysics. Molnar, an expert on mountain building, nicely explains how collisions of plates with continents atop cause mountain belts to form. He also questions the limitations of plate tectonics in explaining formation of such mountains. Understanding Molnar's very short book requires little mathematics. An ideal text for college science courses for non-science majors, and for those who want to understand the evolution of Earth's geological features and phenomena.

Easy to read
Format: Paperback
The book was an easy to read discussion of plate tectonics. The technical terms were easily understood and presented in an interest manner. Technically sound and entertaining is a winning combination for a science book! I wold recommend this book to anyone interested in the topic but is not a scientist in the field.

Very short and very good
Format: eTextbook
I read this book or one similar to it my senior year in high school 1970. It absolutely caught my attention as a way to explain why the continents had separated from Gondwanaland. I really liked revisiting the theory in light of the advances made since then

I love VSI on Kindle
Format: eTextbook
The thing is they take a long time to read because of the look up feature. It's like reading a book in the Library of Congress.

There are few who are capable of telling the story ...
Format: Paperback
There are few who are capable of telling the story of plate techtonics including critical details. Peter Molnar is one of those chosen few who can deliver such a story succinctly and precisely.
