On a trip to south-west Norway, we had the delight of discovering the incredible details of the traditional "Bunad" from the Bergen region. Taking inspiration from it, the "Alina" bustier dress came to be. Traditionally made up of several elements, there is a "Bunad" that unites bustier and skirt in one practical dress.

This edition of the "Alina" dress is made of linen that breathes, light and comfortable across seasons. The low, generous neckline of the bustier sits well on all bodies, particularity fuller chests. The lacing at the front echoes the traditional "Bunad" corset. On the straps, the front sides and the hem, bird embroidery pays tribute to the joyful patterns of the original.

A separate front skirt panel fitted with an elastic band and snap buttons allows you to customize the lacing distance according to your preferences. A small guide is included with every dress to help you make this personalized adjustment.

Available in Indigo Blue and Ivy Green. The Indigo Blue is the traditional color of the Bergen region.

Please note that the "Danika" blouse is not included.

Marion is 180 cm (5'11") tall, and wears size XS. Her measurements are 90 cm (35.4") bust, 69 cm (27.1") waist, and 97 cm (38.1") hips. She chose the smaller size for a very fitted look; however, we would recommend size S for these measurements.

Incredibly well researched
Format: Paperback
Purchased in light of the current election fraud/security debates. I learned nothing so far is new. Data intensive. Can be dry at times, though many of the quotes from historical figures are revealing as to prevailing attitudes.

Excellent and thorough
This must be the definitive history of voting in America. I hold back from giving it five stars because it was a little more than what I was looking for, but this is as thorough as I have ever come across. Also, I love charts and graphs, and he has a great array of tables at the end. Interesting tidbit was the role war played throughout American history in expanding the right to vote. Also, though we all know how the right to vote gradually expanded, but what many of us didn't realize was how the right to vote actually shrunk at various points in American history. That is, some people who had the right to vote had it taken away at various moments in American history. When all is said and done, this is a great book.

read!
Format: Kindle
I had to read this book for a political theory class, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Keysarr did a great job of researching and writing it. It was not as dry as some of the other, similar books I've read. I would definitely recommend this one, even if it's not for a class.
