This an overdrive pedal developed by Bill Finnegan in the early 90's and all hardwired by him. The Centaur is a "transparent" overdrive praised and desired by guitarists around the world.
The serial number came off when contact cleaner was sprayed on the inside and it appears to be in the 12XX range. This pedal sat and was cared for in a studio for years. Pots date to the 24th week of 1999 and all solder joints are intact. This is a rare Gold "Horsie" model with the "open tail".
