For zones 3-10 Queen Anne's Lace is best direct sown from late fall to spring.  It's best to mix a portion of your seeds with one cup of screened peat and lightly spread on the surface of your garden bed.

Queen Anne's Lace does not transplant well so it is not recommended to start early in pots.

We find it's best to sow these in batches.  The first we sow in late fall after our first hard frost and then the next sowing is in very early spring about two week before out last frost.  After that we direct sow a new batch, after our last frost, every three weeks until late spring.  Unless you live in  very mild zones 3-6 it is not recommended sowing these in late hot spring or summer months.

If sowing in spring a quick 14 day cold treatment will enhance germination, but is not required.  To cold treat mix your seed packet with 2 cups of screened peat and 1/4 cup of water.  Store in a baggie or container in your fridge (not your freezer) for two weeks and then direct sow in very early spring after your last frost.

When germinating the intial sprout looks like a blade of grass and then the true leaf looks like a small palm frond (see last photo).

Quality & Durability
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 20 ft Black + 20 ft Red
If you need cable for your power supply and ground. Look no further. This is quality from the copper to the insulation. I wasn't sure about buying wires off amazon but this is my new favorite. Done several trucks and they are holding up just fine.

EXCELLENT FLEXIBLE BATTERY CABLE
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 10 ft Red
This 2awg gauge cable works perfect, nothing more nothing less. The rubber coating on the wire is made with some kind of clothlike material, will work great to resist engine heat with it's thickness. It's real OFC flexible cable very durable and worth the price!!

Good for welding leads
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 20 ft Black + 20 ft Red
Needed some welding lead extensions for a Miller maxstar clone typically running under 200 amps output. This cable fit the bill nicely.

Nice and flexible wire
Size: 2 Gauge Cable, Color: 20 ft Black + 20 ft Red
This feels like nice wire and pure copper which is worth the extra cost. I was able to route this along the frame and around other wires with no issues, well at least not the fault of the wire. The insulation seemed to hold up with no issue as I pulled and re-routed it a few times. I haven't used the winch yet, so I can't say how the wire has held up under heavy load but I hope to soon so stay tuned. Have fun!
