The homies from Kansas City at JHS found a solution to this conundrum and built off of the genius of Electro-Harmonix's design by modifying the pedal to add two additional footswitches to independently control each octave. The center footswitch engages the typical Micro POG controls you're used to, while the left footswitch corresponds to the red knob directly above it for a standalone sub octave, and similarly the right footswitch corresponds to the blue knob directly above it controlling the upper octave.
