If you’re looking for good luck—and a large houseplant—then look no further. Mr. Money Tree’s beautifully braided, swirling trunk traps good fortune. Not just good luck, but also a good income. Its leaves grow in groups of six, possibly representing six figures. Plus, the whole thing just looks striking.

Money Tree benefits

Some say a Money Tree can even promote healthier sleep, reduce stress, and decrease conflict in the home. We can’t confirm the science behind those beliefs, but research does suggest that the Money Tree is an effective air purifier.

Place this adorable plant beside your bed at night, and take a deep breath. You just might sleep better and feel at ease, and you’ll definitely be breathing in cleaner air!

The Money tree looks cool

Scientifically known as the Pachira Aquatica, the Money Tree is a wetland plant native to Central and South America. Each “Money tree” is actually made up of multiple Pachira Aquaticas, gently hand woven together as they grow to maturity. Thanks to the Money Tree’s umbrella-like foliage, the plant’s swirling trunks look like they’re dancing in the rain, adding whimsy and romance to your indoor garden.

The Money Tree is pet-friendly and non-toxic

Money Trees are non-toxic to cats and dogs. We can’t stop your pet from nibbling on your precious Money Tree, but it won’t end in their demise. (We’ll send all the good vibes to your devoured Money Tree, though).

Lighting

Money Trees love low-light spots, even really low light, and they’ll bring you joyful thoughts even from a shady corner—or in bright indirect light. Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy plants, which is almost the same thing?

Watering

Most houseplants can’t tolerate much trial and error when it comes to watering. But the Money tree is flexible! Money trees kinda like damp soil (they’re native to swampland after all), so overenthusiastic watering generally won’t kill them.

Money tree benefits

What is a Money tree good for?

The Money tree looks awesome, purifies the air, brightens your home, and—maybe—brings good fortune. That’s a legend, but nobody said legends can’t be based on truth! You should probably test it out, to be on the safe side.

Does the Money tree clean the air or give oxygen?

The Money tree cleans carbon dioxide from the air and replaces it with nice fresh oxygen for us to breathe. It also sucks up chemicals like formaldehyde and benzene, plus other synthetic chemicals from cleaning products, leaving the air cleaner.

Are Money trees easy to keep alive?

Money trees are very low maintenance. They’re not too fussy about their watering schedules or their lighting. However, everyone has something, and Money trees do prefer a narrow range of temperatures (65-75). They also want some humidity. But that’s all.

Money tree care

How often should I water my Money tree?

Water your Money tree every week or two—more often during the spring and summer, and less often in the fall and winter. The Money tree tolerates overwatering better than underwatering, but make sure you’re using well-draining soil.

How do I keep my Money tree happy?

It’s pretty easy to keep a Money tree happy! Water every week or two. Put it anywhere indoors except in direct sun. And sing it a lullaby every night at bedtime. Even easy-care plants don’t mind a little pampering.

Where should a Money tree be placed in the house?

Most importantly, place the Money tree wherever it can get the right lighting—anywhere from bright indirect light to truly low light. But traditionally, for the best luck, the Money Tree is placed in the southeast section of your home.

Do I need to fertilize my Money tree?

Fertilize your Money tree once a month during spring and summer, when it’s really growing. You can use a general-purpose fertilizer—it’s not a picky eater—but dilute it to half-strength and make sure the soil is wet before applying.

What temperature do Money trees like?

The Money tree is a bit fussy, liking a narrow range of indoor temperatures: 65 to 75 degrees. So keep your home at moderate temps year-round. (Finally, you can tell your spouse or Dad to turn up the heat.)

Can Money trees grow without sunlight?

Money trees can live happily in a dark room with little natural light. So if you have a room with teeny tiny windows, or your neighbor’s way-too-close apartment blocks the sun always, it’s ok—Mr. Money tree will be fine.

Should I spray water on my Money tree?

The Money tree does enjoy humidity, and its leaves will get crinkly in low humidity. However, there’s some debate over whether misting helps or not. To be on the safe side, if you live in low humidity, get a humidifier.

Money tree factoids

Why does the Money tree have 6 leaves?

Some say the six leaves symbolize six figures—in other words, the luck from the Money tree might lead to your next promotion. (It’s us, we’re the ones who say that.) No promises, but work really hard just in case.

What is the superstition about Money trees?

Legend says that having a Money tree in your home will bring good luck and possibly even financial fortune. We prefer “legend” over “superstition” because it sounds fancier and makes us look cooler for believing in it.

Is there a difference between a Money tree and a Money plant?

Yes, the Money tree and the Money plant are totally different species. The Money tree is officially Pachira Aquatica, and the most common money plant, the Chinese Money plant, is Pilea Peperomioides—and it’s a small plant, not a tree.

Is the Money tree good for feng shui?

The Money tree is powerful and meaningful in feng shui, especially if you place it in the southeast area of your home. It symbolizes personal and professional growth and is said to bring good fortune to you and your family.

Do Money trees bloom?

In the wild, Money trees often boast glorious fluffy orange blossoms. But that only happens because they’re pollinated by bats. Assuming you don’t keep any bats inside (weirdo), your Money tree is very unlikely to bloom indoors.

How often do Money trees grow money?

Sadly, the legend that Money trees bring wealth and fortune is more of a metaphor than a practical promise. None of our Money trees have ever grown cash, and if they start, we won’t sell them to you anymore!

Why is it called a Money tree?

The Money tree gets its name from the legend, myth, or superstition that it brings financial luck to its owner or household. However, it’s not literal; Money trees don’t grow money (and no one will pay you to own one).

How long do Money trees live indoors?

Even indoors, a Money tree can live ten years or even longer. Of course, it requires TLC, but it’s an easy-care plant so that’s not a tall order. The Money tree will be your botanical companion for a decade.

Perfect Size And Great Variety For Small Dogs and Puppies
Color: Pink
I ordered this 5-pack of puppy chew toys for my small dogs, and they have been a big hit. As soon as I gave them the toys, they immediately took interest and even started fighting over them, which tells me they really enjoy playing with them. The size of these toys is perfect for small dogs and puppies. They fit comfortably in their mouths, making it easy for them to carry, chew, and play. I also really like that each toy is different, which helps keep things interesting and gives them a variety of textures and shapes to explore. The material feels like a good quality rubber and works well for teething. It seems to provide a nice balance of being durable while still giving enough for them to chew comfortably. So far, the toys have been holding up well with regular use. As with any dog toy, I do supervise playtime and make sure to throw them away if I notice any signs of wear or damage. At this point, though, they’ve been surprisingly durable for how much my dogs use them. Overall, this is a great set for small dogs, especially if you have puppies that need safe and engaging chew options. Pros: Perfect size for small dogs and puppies Comes with 5 different toys for variety Dogs find them very engaging and fun Good for teething and chewing Durable so far with regular use Cons: Not suitable for larger dogs or aggressive chewers Will still need monitoring for wear over time

Adorable Toy Set for Small Dogs, But Supervision Is Important
Color: Pink, Color: Pink
The first thing that caught my attention was the beautiful pink color. For a small female dog like mine, this set looks absolutely adorable. The toys are cute, colorful, and perfect for small breeds. When I opened the package, I honestly thought they looked even prettier in person than in the photos. My little dog was immediately interested in them and couldn’t wait to start playing. The variety of shapes keeps things fun, and the rubber pieces seem great for chewing and keeping small dogs entertained. My only concern is with the fabric ribbons attached to some of the toys. My dog loves to chew on everything and has a talent for pulling things apart, so I personally plan to remove the ribbons before giving the toys to her. I worry that an aggressive chewer could tear off a piece and accidentally swallow it. For supervised play they’re fine, but it’s something I would keep an eye on. Pros: * Beautiful pink color * Adorable design for small dogs * Variety of toys included * Great for chewing and playtime * Looks exactly like the photos Cons: * Fabric ribbons may not be ideal for dogs that aggressively chew or destroy toys * Requires supervision for heavy chewers Overall, this is a very cute toy set that my dog immediately loved. The colors and designs are adorable, and the toys are perfect for keeping small dogs busy. Just be mindful of the fabric ribbons if your pup is the type who likes to tear everything apart. Other than that, it’s a lovely set and a great gift for a small dog.

All Five Toys Are Mine Now — A Review by Patches the Pomeranian
Color: Pink, Color: Pink
⭐ “Hi, I’m Patches, and These Toys Are All Mine Now” — A Review by a Very Busy Pomeranian ⭐ Hello, my name is Patches, and I am what the humans call a “toy enthusiast.” What that really means is: if a toy enters this house, it belongs to me immediately, no questions asked. The Pack Leader brought home this 5‑Pack Puppy Chew Toy Set — a pea pod, a wing‑shaped chew, and three cute fabric‑tied toys. Five toys. Five opportunities for greatness. Five items for my personal collection. He tried to hand one toy to each of us like we’re participating in some kind of polite sharing ceremony. Very sweet. Very unrealistic. The moment my sisters glanced away for a single second, I activated my elite move: The Pomeranian Slide‑In‑and‑Snatch. I took my toy. I took their toys. I took the toys on the floor. I would’ve taken the mail if it looked interesting. Now I have all five toys, and my sisters have… well… the joy of watching me parade around with them like a tiny fluffy champion. 🦴 My Professional Toy Review Pea pod: Chews beautifully and looks adorable when I carry it around like a prize. Wing bone: Excellent for dramatic chewing sessions. Fabric toys: Perfect for shaking, tossing, and showing off. They don’t squeak, they don’t bounce — and honestly, that’s perfect. I enjoy a quiet chew while plotting my next toy acquisition. 😬 Teething & Dental Stuff The humans say these toys help clean teeth and massage gums. I don’t know about all that. I just know they feel good to chew and keep me busy while my sisters stare at me in disbelief. 🎁 Final Thoughts If your puppy enjoys chewing, collecting, or claiming ownership of everything within paw‑reach, this set is a fantastic choice. 5/5 stars. Would absolutely claim again.

Anya loves her new baby toys
Color: Pink, Color: Pink
This review is for the YZHZIIR 5 Pack Puppy Chew Soft Rubber Dog Toys. As you can see in my photos, my Borzoi “puppy” is quite large. I knew these toys are not meant for extra large breed puppies, but for some odd reason, ours loves little tiny toys. She usually will just carry them around in her mouth and will gently play with them. That being said, she will have these baby toys in her “supervised only” drawer. This order came with 5 toys per pack, as stated on line. They look exactly like what you see, and it even specifies the sizes. I think if you have a toy breed, these are suitable since they’re safe to chew (not ingest). They’re BPA and phthalates free, made of natural rubber, so I’m not concerned about her developing a third eye or a lump somewhere on her body. My puppies are the apple of my eye, so they are supervised whilst playing with small, easy to tear apart toys or goodies that may have a choking hazard. So my recommendation is that unless you are keeping a close eye on them, stick to giving these to toy breeds with tiny teeth, or very young puppies who could barely chomp down on soft puppy food. The price is unbeatable. For 5 toys, you pay only $9.99!

Made Puppy Sick!
Color: Blue, Color: Blue
Fell apart fast, my pup tore pieces off and it made him sick. I really wanted these to work because they are so cute as "baby" toys for puppies and the listing promises “durable & chew‑resistant” toys that can stand up to sharp puppy teeth and even says they’re safe for extended chewing with no health risks because they’re made from “100% natural rubber” with no BPA or harmful chemicals. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience at all. My pup had these for only a short time before he chewed pieces off, and the toys started breaking apart way faster than expected. After swallowing some of the pieces, he ended up sick to his stomach, which meant the toys had to go straight in the trash. He was up all night with diarrhea and vomiting, at first, I didn't put it together until I found blue pieces of the rubber toy in his vomit.
