Each pedal is manufactured in a classic ROSS enclosure style at the JHS Pedals facility in Kansas City, MO, using the same stringent quality standards you’ve come to expect. Notable improvements over the vintage units include soft touch bypass, lower noise and a mode switch with two settings for added versatility.The ROSS Distortion is an op-amp hard clipper built around the classic 1970s topology seen in pedals like the MXR Distortion Plus, the DOD 250, the Proco RAT and the BOSS DS-1. While this pedal can be used in almost any situation, it excels at creating natural tube-like overdrive distortion and pushing your amplifier into natural breakup.
CONTROLS
“Level” controls the volume (right is louder, left is quieter). “Distort” controls the amount of hard-clipping distortion (right is more distorted, left is less distorted). The side push switch allows the player to toggle between two different versions of the circuit produced during its fifteen year history: Germanium mode ( “Era 2” version) and Silicon mode ( “Era 3” version). The footswitch activates the pedal via soft touch bypass switching and the status LED indicates that the circuit is active.
JACKS
The ¼” input and output jacks connect your guitar and amplifier. The power jack accepts standard 9V DC Negative Center power and consumes 40mA.
THIS PEDAL REQUIRES 9V DC NEGATIVE CENTER. 40MA CONSUMPTION. DO NOT USE MORE THAN 9V DC, OR YOUR WARRANTY WILL BE VOIDED.

Not really what I paid for.

I have two major chewer dogs, and one of REALLY chews on everything. It’s super difficult not spending an average of $50 every 2-4 months on chew toys because they go through them so fast.
When I got my first boy I saw his chewing habits so I looked for a durable chew toy brand. Nylabone was everyone’s favorite so I tried two or three chew toys for him after attempting other brands. He’s six years old and this past Christmas I JUST threw away his very first chew bone. It lasted over 5 years. I was ecstatic after year one! A heavy duty chew toy brand that actually did was promised!
Naturally I stuck with Nylabone, never having an issue with any of their toys until this one. Cheeseburger bacon flavored/scented was my go to for this second puppy I just got with the same, if not more, super chewing habits. He loves trying to steal our bacon and burgers so I’m like, “Okay. I’ll try this one.”
It arrives, I open it. It smells like freshly burnt rubber from tires and neither of my boys will touch it. I’m also wondering how this can be durable if I can literally bend without trying much. I’m overly concerned with them digesting it and will probably toss it in the trash since my youngest boy has stomach issues already and doesn’t need this thing irritating it.
In short, if you think yours will smell like bacon burger go for it. Just make sure your dog isn’t a super canine chewer because I doubt this thing would last an hour with even one of my dogs and that’s if they would actually touch it.

None of the dogs are interested

My Mini Schnauzer wasn’t at all interested, and she usually at least explores a new toy a little. I even tried rubbing food on it.
I washed it & gave it to my brother who has a Belgian Malinois (?) & it was a no go. We rescued a Goldendoodle & she won’t even hold it in her mouth if I hand it to her.
My guess is that the toy is too heavy & the rubber has an off putting smell. This one got 3 strikes from not very picky dogs.
