Description

Fast on tarmac and off-road, the Addict Gravel incorporates many of the concepts behind the Pro Tour Addict RC, blending these with off-road design.  The Addict Gravel’s ride is fast. Blisteringly fast.  It’s at its absolute pinnacle when the gravel roads are open, straight and speedy.  It accelerates with a road-bike whip, while being able to get down into a flat-backed aero position helps maintain the pace you’ve built.  This gives it true all-roader appeal – you could easily use the Addict Gravel as a gravel racer, or a perfectly competent performance road bike.  Tight, twisty singletrack isn’t the Addict’s forte – the long ride position just isn’t ideal for more technical trails.

The Scott Addict Gravel 30 features an aerodynamically optimised frame design, which brings the integration between frame and fork and the internal cable routing from the Addict RC.  The ride position is long and low, but with plenty of tyre clearance, accommodating up to 45mm measured-width clearance. The frameset uses aero-optimised tubes throughout, employing Scott’s own patented take on airfoil shapes. The tapering seat tube has plenty of the truncated airfoil about it, whereas the down tube has a more muscular squared-off profile (albeit with smooth curves on the edges).  Scott has optimised the carbon layup in both the fork legs and seatstays to provide a bit of compliance to minimise vibrations from poor surfaces.

The Shimano GRX RX600 drivetrain is Shimano’s gravel equivalent of 105. It’s a solid-performing, sharp-shifting gravel groupset that simply works well.  The 2x setup of the 30 suits the bike well. The 46/30-tooth chainring combination matched to an 11-34t cassette gives a solid range for off-road duties.  The lowest (less than 1:1 ratio) 30/34t gear can take you up the steepest ramps, both on and off-road; 46/11t is ample to hit a high pace off-road and keep up with many slick-tyred riders on tarmac The GRX400 hydraulic brakes are solid performers, with power aplenty and a good level of feel and progressive power through the lever travel.

The Syncros RP2.0 Disc wheels are from Syncros’ road stable, while the shallow 24mm rims are tubeless-ready and have a 19mm internal width.  The 45mm-wide Schwalbe G-One Bite gravel tyres are about as wide as you’d want to go on these rims (and hit the upper limit of claimed frame clearance). They shape up well, spreading outwards from the rim without getting to an unstable lightbulb shapThe G-One Bite is a fine three-season gravel option. The studded tread is spread broadly on the tyre's shoulders, which provides good grip in loose or wet gravel conditions.  The centre tread is still wider spaced than the standard G-One, but its shallow depth and interlocking hexagonal stud pattern rolls well on tarmac with no squirm or slide when you up the pace.

A Solid, No-Frills Office Chair That Gets the Job Done
Color: Black, Style: pack of 3
I bought the BestOffice Home Office Chair Ergonomic Desk Chair because I needed something affordable and functional for our conference room. I wasn’t looking for anything high-end—just something comfortable enough to get through staff meetings without complaints of sore backs. Out of the box, assembly was pretty straightforward. It took me about 20–30 minutes, and the instructions were clear enough that I didn’t run into any major issues. Once set up, the chair feels lightweight but stable, and it rolls smoothly across the low pile carpeted office floor. The mesh back is probably the best feature. It keeps airflow going, which makes a big difference if you sit for long periods or in a warmer environment. I’ve had padded chairs before that trap heat, so this was a noticeable improvement right away. The lumbar support is decent for the price. It’s not adjustable in a high-end sense, but it does help encourage better posture and reduces that “slouching into the chair” feeling over time. The armrests are basic, but they do the job for light support. Comfort-wise, it’s good for moderate use. I can sit in it for a few hours at a time without discomfort, but if you’re planning to sit all day every day, you might want something with more padding and customization. A few drawbacks worth mentioning: The cushioning is on the firmer side and I worry may wear with extensive use The chair is more budget-oriented in build quality Adjustability is somewhat limited compared to higher-end ergonomic chairs That said, for the price, it delivers exactly what it promises. It’s a simple, functional office chair that covers the basics without overcomplicating things.

Good chair and great value, comfortable
Color: Dark Black, Style: pack of 1, Color: Dark Black, Style: pack of 1
The chair is as you expect for this price range The only Issue is the thigh length is shorter then I thought but still works. The air fabric helps Keeps it cool to sit in for long periods without sweating It’s a great chair to sit in for 8 hours as I usually do writing and project planning at my desk. Over all the assembly was simple and all The instructions were there with the tools as well. It rolls fine on my vinyl floor. It’s definitely value for your money on this one and the over all design is fine and works to me at this point. It don’t have squeaky tires so the noise is good rolling around

Great value
Color: Red, Style: pack of 1, Color: Red, Style: pack of 1
Easy to put together. Only tough part was getting the wheels on, needed someone strong to attach them. Once together it is a great chair. Height adjusts up and down easily and rolls smoothly. Sturdy chair and the red looks great!

Reasonably comfortable, price is good, you get what you pay for
Color: Black, Style: pack of 1
Easy enough to put together, moderately comfortable (though I wouldn't want to sit in it for more than a couple hours). Heads and shoulders above the other similar-looking chairs on this site. If you want a cheap chair with arms, this is pretty much the best combination of cheap and reasonably comfortable. I am using it with a spare desk/workstation, and it's fine. In fact, I plan to buy another one. Recline is good (make sure to loosen the twisty thing. Rolls fine. Feels study enough for me. I'm 5'10", 185 lbs, and my husband is 5'9", 215lbs, and both of us feel like the chair is roomy and durable. Certainly worth it for the price.

Priced right
Color: Black, Style: pack of 1
I got this chair for the price and wanted to try something with a vented design. The instructions are simple with pictures only but seemed to work. Pros: Decent price. Fairly good fit and finish. Assembly was easy with an exception. You get extra screw bolts. Screws appear to have Loctite. Cons: The arm rests were extremely difficult to attach to the seat. 4 bolts. The threaded bolt holes in the seat cushion did not line up well with the holes in the arm rest even though the arm rest holes were slotted. It took major tweaking. The angles of the chair made it even more difficult to assemble unless you built a custom work bench. You get an Allen key but I used a ratcheting screw driver. The 5 wheel base that the chair sits on required partial assembly. It comes with 4 of the arms attached as one piece normally but the 5th arm needs to be attached in sort of a keyed design. You'll need a mallet. My first thought was why? The only reason I came up with was it allows for a smaller shipping box. Smaller boxes equal more chairs shipped on the same ship from Vietnam. In any case it is a con since IMO it creates a stress point that could snap. The wheels are small and plastic. I used a set of "roller blade" style office chair wheels I already had. It has adjustments for elevation and tilt. My wife sat in it and she says it's comfortable in her sewing room so I'm happy. Of course time will tell. Three stars for the assembly issues. Overall: Good deal for a not so expensive chair
