Reportedly produced for only a few years in the late 1970s as a "SPEECH SYNTHESIZER,"this is a particularly quirky model within the brand’s diverse lineup. It’s used just like a standard wah pedal, but when you press the pedal, it sounds like a human voice saying “ia-ia”—and if you keep pressing it, does it start to sound like “aiya-aiya”? What does it sound like to you?The single SUSTAIN knob allows you to boost the output and add a slight amount of distortion. Based on the internal pot date , this unit was manufactured around 1978. It features a mini-jack connector but can also be used with a 9V power supply. We’ll include a mini-jack adapter cable as a bonus.
