This genuine French Army assault vest is designed around a modular strap system so it's compatible with a wide range of equipment. Originally issued in the early 2000's, these vests were replaced with carrier vests. The Camouflage Europe Centrale (or French CE) is a 4-colour camouflage pattern used by the French Army.

Some of our vests in this batch have black fastening straps & buckles along with hook & loop closure grenade pouches (instead of hook & loop + dome closure). These also have a fabric outer surface instead of woven nylon. The vests with this design are a few years before the pictured model but still retain the same features and configuration (see last picture).

The vest can hold more than just a few magazines. Two large compartments on the rear are an excellent solution for storing gear and survival equipment. The waist belt offers a wide range of sizes and fastens with a plastic buckle. Two adjustable buckles on the torso provide a secure fit. A mesh construction on the back prevents sweat build up and will dry faster. Four grenade pouches are attached to the straps on the front. Above that is space to add magazine pouches, ideal for airsoft players.
