The Anodized Brown Distortion 4K has a broad range of gain available, from +26dB to +60dB --- Rare among Distortion Pedals --- and the dynamic range available at lower though higher gain settings produces a Distortion sound and immediate response similar to what you experience while playing through a powerful Tube Guitar Amplifier. The OC-ADB works equally well with both active and passive pickups – Humbucker or Single Coil. The hotter the pickup, the heavier the sound. No matter which type of pickup, you can easily control the all-important “low-mid” Distortion.

Whether your amp is more British, or more American in flavor, the Anodized Brown Distortion generates a solid, three-dimensional sound, as if each sound particle were vibrating. Low End is Tight and Fat. Free artificial treble buzz. Use the guitar volume knob to dilute high frequency saturation. Solid and organic sounding with a long-lasting sustain that fades out in a natural way… The Anodized Brown captures all the elements that make up the classic distortion effect.
