Xotic has made the EP Booster more expressive with the EP-Pro Boost/Volume Effect Pedal, a volume pedal with their signature boost on tap, featuring fine tuning to get more response out of what may fall after: amp, pedalboard, effects loop, modeler—you name it.
Fit inside a lightweight and durable aluminum chassis, the EP-Pro packs volume expression and tunable boosting into one convenient package. The volume pedal portion is topped with rubber pads to prevent slipping, while the nylon pivot design, utilized in previous XV models, promises smooth operation with adjustable torque. Behind the pedal, you'll find a momentary switch that controls the boost, a FET circuit with internal dip-switching to toggle between true bypass or buffered signal bypass. The placement allows for independent control from the volume, and keeps in mind board space by omitting another pesky platform to house a lone button.
The EP Booster is beloved by many players (and we're sure you're one of them), and the day is finally here for fabulous fine tuning. Found on the side of the enclosure, volume, gain, treble, and bass knobs are found to give that much more excitement to your favorite boost.
