Mit dem Khan 500 präsentiert KingCamp ein sehr geräumiges 8-Personen Zelt, das dank seiner klassischen Tipi-Rund-Form mit einem ganz besonderen Glamping Flair aufwartet. Trotz seiner stattlichen Ausmaße von 3 Metern Höhe bei einem großzügigen Durchmesser von 5 Metern ist das Khan 500 schnell aufgebaut und kompakt zu verpacken. Der Grund dafür ist, dass das Zelt wegen seiner Tipi-Form über nur eine einzige, robuste und leichte Aluminium-Stange verfügt. 

Die verschiedenen Aufbauoptionen bieten Ihnen maximale Flexibilität. Speziell der Aufbau ohne Baumwoll-Außenwände und nur mit Mesh-Seitenwänden bietet eine einzigartige und sehr komfortable Option an heißen Tagen die bisher nur bei den Khan Zelten möglich ist und eine optimierte Belüftung mit dem Schutz vor Insekten verbindet. Natürlich ist auch bei allen anderen Aufbauoptionen dank der eingebauten Dachbelüftung ein angenehmes Innenklima mit hervorragender Frischluftversorgung garantiert. Hinzu kommen die drei Fenster, die Licht ins Innere bringen und bei Bedarf mit Vorhängen verschlossen werden können. 

Ein Schornstein-Ausgang mit Regenabdeckung und feuerresistentem Material ermöglicht eine Entlüftung an der Seite. Mehrere Organizer-Taschen und 3 Haken zum Aufhängen von Laterne oder Ausrüstung an der Mittelstange sorgen für Ordnung im Zelt.

Die extra starke technische Baumwolle mit PU-Beschichtung verbessert das Innenzeltklima, ist wasserabweisend, sorgt für ein angenehmes Raumgefühl und biete eine erhöhte Reißfestigkeit. Besonders in eher feuchten Breiten, ist dieses Mischgewebe (80% Polyester, 20% Baumwolle) von Vorteil. Die robusten Nylon Reißverschlüsse, die gebogenen Heringe und die extra starken Abspannseile erhöhen sowohl die Windstabilität als auch die Langlebigkeit. Der kinderleicht mit einem Reißverschluss zu befestigende Boden aus Tarpaulin (510 g/m²) schützt verlässlich vor Bodenfeuchtigkeit und ist nach Gebrauch leicht zu reinigen.

So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

This book wasn't bad, but wasn't my cup of tea. It's highly disappointing because the storyline is so original. There is no real conflict or resolution, so the entire thing feels flat. As a lover of omegaverse books, I know there is a ton of variety out there, and ov is really up to the author. But this one is weird. Omegas have multiple scent glands all over their bodies and go into week long heats every month. Alphas have knots in the middle of their shaft instead of the base, and the knot doesn't always swell, no explanation of when or why. It doesn't engage at all when the mouth is in play. I also didn't enjoy the author's writing style. Each paragraph is only 1 or 2 sentences long, and the entire book reads very stacato. The conversations are stiff and unnatural feeling. Everything is very repetitive, both in word choice and in thought. The same thing is repeated 3 or 4 times over a single page, multiple times over. I ended up doing so much skimming. The first 50% of the book is all slow burn, and the last 50% is almost straight mediocre spice. This wouldn't have been all bad if the grammar and spelling errors didn't start at the exact same time. Tongue is repeatedly misspelled in the middle of the spice.
